The Site Reaction Packet

• Shortly after visiting your building site with you and your dealer, Turkel Design will provide you with a Site Reaction Packet illustrating the various man-made and natural features of the site and its environs impacting the organization, access and design of your new home.  This document will give a basic layout of your proposed home on your lot, taking in to account site topography, the sun’s path throughout the year, neighboring structures, existing trees, access to views and more.

Bringing it to life: the Sketch Packet

• Once the Site Reaction Packet has been reviewed with you and your dealer and the most appropriate site strategy has been determined, Turkel Design will begin creating the floor plan of your new home. This Sketch Packet will contain perspective views of the design, dimensioned floor plans with furniture layout options, and interior perspectives of several rooms in the home so you can see how it will look and feel from both inside and out. It is expected that this packet will go through one revision in order to refine the home’s organization.

Putting it all together: The Design Development Packet

• The Design Development Packet is the final step, where all of your comments and input are synthesized into the design for your new home. This packet contains rendered elevations of your home and final floor plans that will be used to determine material lists and create your construction plans. The level of detail of the renderings in this packet is so detailed and realistic you'll show them to your friends and family, and can be used to make final material choices prior to beginning construction of your new home.
