After 25 years as an iron worker, I was injured on the job and had to make a change. I decided to become a Lindal Cedar Homes distributor despite the advice of my rehabilitation officer.
Before becoming a Lindal dealer, I was a general contractor and had framed a couple of Lindals. I was very impressed with the quality of the materials that were supplied in the package. Locally, nothing compares to it. Post and beam construction was unique to my area and I knew I had something different to offer my customers. I knew with all the glass in the homes that they would appeal to people because of all of the lake and mountain property that is available in Georgia.
