About Us

Larry and Stephanie Walters are the owners of Blue Mountain Cedar Homes, an independent Lindal distributor, serving Eastern Oregon.  Stephanie grew up on a ranch in eastern Oregon.  After marrying Larry, Stephanie spent time raising her family, then worked in human resources for several companies and is currently the fairground manager in Grant County. Larry was raised in small town in Illinois, graduated from the Naval Academy, and spent six years in the Marine Corps.  Then Larry worked for over 30 years in the pulp and paper industry.  We have lived and traveled throughout the USA. After enjoying the last several years in South Carolina, we decided to move back to Eastern Oregon for its natural beauty and to sell Lindal homes to other people who value their quality and beautiful designs.  

 We live in a Lindal home, the Oceanside model, in John Day, Oregon.  We want to help you build your dream home—one which represents you and your lifestyle and still fits within your budget.  We provide support to you through every stage of the home building process, inventorying the delivery, working with your builder as you request, and provide a constant and reliable resource throughout the building process.
