We take pride in over 74 years of Lindal heritage. With over 50,000 custom homes built by Lindal on almost every continent and in every climate and site location imaginable, there are few if any issues we haven’t dealt with when it comes to home design and construction. Looking for a new home in the Bay Area? Lindal homes can be built on urban infill lots in the city and modified to meet size requirements and other restrictions. If you’re considering a real estate purchase in the area, we can walk the lot with you and discuss house-siting options. You can choose any of our new home designs from our plan books. We work with you to tailor the room design and overall floor plan to your needs. All our homes meet California code requirements and can be engineered to meet local requirements and WUI regulations.
Home styles include small homes and accessory dwelling units (ADUs and DADUs) starting under 500 square feet, urban contemporary homes for city lots, architect-designed homes, classic homes with prow fronts and high-pitched roofs, and modern, open-floor-plan houses with walls of glass.
Through the Lindal Architects Collaborative, we offer architect-designed homes at a price far below what an architectural firm would usually charge for a custom home. The top-tier residential architects with whom we partner through the LAC include Bates Masi, Marmol Radziner, and the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture. A modified version of the TD3 2490 by Turkel Design for Lindal was featured in Dwell magazine.
