Farmhouse: If you want the charm of a traditional farmhouse design with the open, light-filled interior of a Lindal, these homes are designed for you. Outside, a covered front porch runs the length of the house under a trio of gables: a second covered porch is conveniently close to the kitchen. Inside, natural light floods the post and beam great room, which is open to the kitchen and dinning room. Upstairs, a master suite and a home office claim the most private part of the cedar home with a romantic, lofty felling that comes from the high sloped ceilings and gabled dormers. Ranch: Every timber frame home in this design series celebrates the convenience of living on one level. The ingenuity of well-zoned floor plan honors both public and private spaces by devoting different parts of the cedar home to them, and creating an easy flow throughout.
