Majestic Peaks Custom Homes is owned and operated by Brent and Stephanie Hughes. Brent and Stephanie are both Civil Engineers, graduates of the University of Manitoba (’86) and Colorado School of Mines (’94) respectively.

Prior to taking over the Lindal Dealership in Western Colorado in 2003 – both worked in Construction Management. Brent’s experience ranged from Commercial to Heavy Civil Construction Management/Engineering to High End Residential High Rises. Stephanie started out in Boston on The Big Dig and ventured into various aspects of Construction Management, prior to teaming up with Brent as Project Engineer on a few successful remote projects in the Caribbean.

The Montrose Dealership has provided Lindal service to Western Colorado and surrounding states since the summer of 1995 when the construction of the model and offices were completed, and now with two engineers running the show – the homes continue to get more and more beautiful – exciting – and custom fit for each client and each building lot. The Hughes’s have a history of wonderful homes to show in their portfolio, and a list of clients proud to show off their ‘one of a kind’ dream homes. We stay in touch with our clients and enjoy meeting up with them in town or at public events. ‘The West’ is big…..but not that big.

Back in 2002 the Hughes’s were looking for a cool fun town to start a family – as Brent grew up in a small town in Canada. Fond of small town living – he decided Montrose would be a great place to raise a family. Leaving the security of the corporate world was cautiously exciting – but since getting established on the Western Slope – the two have never ‘looked back’. Parents to 2 young boys – their plan has come to fruition. In their minds – 2 possible future Engineers to compliment the business!
