Here is a little insight into how we created the proprietary Lindal Elements system providing a rare synthesis of efficiency, flexibility, and predictability:
Efficiency through evolution.
We began by returning to Sir Walter Lindal’s original concept of a system of interchangeable parts, organized to maximize the structural efficiency of each component, create open floor plans, and provide transparency to the natural environment.
Increased flexibility.
The Lindal post and beam system enables flexibility in an infinite number of configurations. In the Elements system, the reduced number of parts makes it practical to offer material options for each part without affecting design and engineering flow.
Predictable costs and design.
By reducing the number of component sizes, we built a pricing system that includes the price of every option for each part. This enables us to predict and refine cost as needed by selecting various material options and understanding their cost impact on any Elements design.
