Primary responsibilities will be reviewing project specifications to prepare and coordinate material sales orders from architectural plans. Materials include windows, doors, metal siding, trusses, custom stairs & railing or other specialty items. This position also assists the Lead Purchaser by performing a Quality Control function on Purchase Orders.

Capability to thoroughly analyze architectural blueprints will be required in order to ensure complete accuracy and synchronization between all Construction Documents.

The job requires an *extreme* attention to detail. US residents. In person at the Seattle office for the first 90 days, with potential for hybrid work.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Drafter with a strong background in residential framing and construction knowledge, proficient in Revit, and possessing valuable management skills.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with architects and engineers to produce detailed residential construction drawings, including framing plans and layouts.
• Utilize your in-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes to ensure accurate and efficient drafting.
• Develop 3D models and Construction Documents in Revit.
• Review and modify existing drawings to align with design changes, client preferences, or engineering specifications.
• Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and precision in producing accurate and error-free drafts.

Requirements:

• An architectural degree from an accredited institution.
• A solid background in drafting, framing, and construction practices, ideally with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in using Revit software for 2D drafting and 3D modeling.
• Demonstrated ability to manage tasks efficiently, prioritize work, and meet deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for identifying potential design issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively within the team.
• A proactive attitude, adaptability, and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities as required.
• Previous experience in a leadership or management capacity is a plus.
